Understanding The Process
Shahrad’s approach is uniquely tailored to each case because each dispute involves specific factual issues and human elements that require careful consideration.
As a mediator, Shahrad works with the parties and their attorneys to analyze the case from all angles so that the participants can make informed decisions. This typically results in the settlement because the parties can see the risks and benefits of going to trial versus settling their case outside of court.
In general, the mediation process allows the parties to make informed decisions (rather than leaving decisions up to a judge or jury) and to work hard toward a resolution.
Shahrad does not charge an administrative fee. His hourly fee for preparation and mediation time is $460 per hour (4-hour minimum).
